05/05/2009 All ready for Dijon !

The first round of the 2009 GT 90's Revival Series will take place this coming weekend in Dijon, during the second meeting of the FFSA Super Série multi-platform series. Currently 12 cars are confirmed, with a further number hoping to join them.  Three Chrysler Viper GTS-R cars will be in competition – one of them entered by 2008 Champion Frank Jacob.  Another is entered by Eric Behrens of Sweden, while Autovitesse enters the third Viper, for Florent Moulin and Philippe Chevallard.  The French team is also entering a magnificent Lamborghini Diablo GTR – always a pleasure for the ears -  for Michel Mhitarian.  Peter Kutemann will be in a Ferrari 360 Modena entered by JMB Racing of Monaco.  Moderne Racing Team enters a Porsche 993, as does CERT99 and RTR.  Last but not least, two Venturi 400 Trophy cars will be entered  by Grazy Sports Auto.

With two 45-minute races, one on Saturday and one on Sunday, running along with the Caterham cars, it should be an exciting weekend, especially if the spring weather brings the Dijon crowds flocking to the popular and challenging circuit.
